SLK to headline his stand up comedy special tagged ‘Thank God I’m Funny’ (TGIF) on Friday November 23

Comedian, Oluwaponmile Salako, popularly known as SLK, will on Friday, 23 November, headlines his stand up comedy special tagged ‘Thank God I’m Funny’ (TGIF) at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to SLK who is well known for his Boda Wasiu persona, “TGIF will make history as Nigeria’s first stand up comedy documentary film and premiere at cinemas. It is one-of-a-kind in that, unlike other comedy shows which are held annually, the next edition of this show will hold when I have something to say, which maybe in three months, or even in three years. Also, attendees are not required to ‘dress up’ and should come as they are as there would not be a Red Carpet. This is definitely not your average comedy show”.

Hosted by IK Osakioduwa, SLK/Boda Wasiu fans should expect to be treated to one hour of witty play on words & intelligent comedy commentary characteristic of SLK. There shall also be performances by veteran comedians Kennyblaq, Omobaba and Bovi as well as comedian DeeOne of the 2018 Big Brother Naija fame.

Tickets are priced at N10,000 for Regular and N50,000 for VIP and can be purchased at Filmhouse Cinemas, Hubmart Stores, Old English Supermarket, TFC and on all online ticketing platforms

Thank God I’m Funny is supported by DSTV, African Magic, FIRS, Access Bank, Dano, The Palms Mall Lekki, Kora, MediaCrush, Taxify, HipTV, OSG, KogaTV, Wazobia FM, CoolFM, Top Radio, Unilag FM, Kiss FM

NO AFRICAN TIME, NO RED CARPET.
